SPRING 2019 COLLABORATION WITH TASC & STITCHES

In Spring 2019, Arkansas Arts & Fashion Forum was excited to partner with the Teen Action Support Center- The Station to help showcase their creativity.

Designers Arely Torres & Omar Bravo of Stitches even had the opportunity to show their designs on the NWA Fashion Week Runway Spring 2019 Runway with the help of AAFF’s CEO and Creative Director, Robin Atkinson, and NWA Fashion Week’s Director of Modeling, Kathleen Gonzalez.

3.24.19 RUNWAY WORKSHOP

CEO and Creative Director of Arkansas Arts & Fashion Forum, Robin Atkinson, and NWA Fashion Week’s Director of Modeling, Kathleen Gonzalez met with the designers of Stitches and their models at The Station in Springdale.

3.15.19 DESIGNER WORKSHOP: COLLECTION CRITIQUE

Arkansas Arts & Fashion Forum’s CEO and Creative Director, Robin Atkinson, worked with Omar Bravo and Arely Torres, the designers for Stitches, to help them prepare for their Runway Show for NWA Fashion Week Spring 2019.

1.26.19 THE POWER OF AN ITEM- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Stella Bray-Conrad, the Director Supply Chain Governance on Walmart, developed and taught this workshop to help the students of the Teen Action Support of Center examine why an item is important and the item relationship to the customer. The emphasis of this workshop was on the development of an item with a brief intersection how an item lives within a collection. This was an exploration of the multi-faceted design process.
