A Designer Residency Program: Identifying, Incubating and Promoting New Talent in Fashion

Our Mission: To create a program that develops talent in the area and attracts visionaries from other regions to collaborate, train, and learn from the regional creative community. EMERGE will focus on identifying talent based in the region and providing opportunities via mentorships and workshops with leading thinkers in the fields of fashion, sustainability, manufacturing, and creative design among others. The program will engage one experienced Designer in Residence, and a select amount of local designers. Our ultimate goal is to support the growth of the existing local talent, foster greater levels of creative production, and contribute industry knowledge to the community.

We are thrilled to announce Bruce Davis, designer and creator of 22nd Element will be the inaugural Designer in Residence for EMERGE. Watch the video below to learn more about Bruce, 22nd Element, and what drives him to create.
